Talking to Other People Who Stutter Can Help!

Sometimes, people who stutter feel that there is nobody else who understands, that there is nobody who has been where they are. That's where the NSA comes in.

By participating in NSA events, like the Annual Conference and Local Chapter Meetings, you can meet other people who have been where you are. They understand what you're going through, and sometimes, just knowing that somebody else understands can make it a little easier.

You can also read stories written by other people who stutter...by hearing about their experiences, you can get ideas about things that may help you. This section of the website contains a sample of columns written by other people who've been through it.

You can also find many more examples in our monthly newsletters, Letting Go, as well as in the books available through the NSA Store.

In the coming months and years, additional material will be added as more of our members write material that may be of value in this section.  Stay tuned for details...

In the meantime, the best collections of writings come from the books "To Say What Is Ours" available in the NSA Store, and "NSA books."
