Volunteer

We need your help!  All it takes is a much time as you are willing to give – a few hours a day, a week, or even a month - any time given is appreciated!  Below is a list of projects that we could use your help with, each at no cost to you!

Word Processing & General Administration:

* Organizing lists, database information and other data (proficiency in Microsoft Word and/or Excel a plus!)
* Creating PowerPoint presentation for chapter leaders to show at local meetings highlighting what the NSA has to offer
* Inputting information into the NSA database
* Responding to occasional queries to the National Office
* Joining our "Welcoming Committee" and corresponding with potential members who contact the NSA, generally "showing them around", and being available for any questions they may have. We already have a template in place for you to use so all you have to do is alter it with your personal information and send!

Graphic Artists:

* Creating of graphic images or fun animations for website
* Assisting with projects involving logos, graphics, creative design, newsletter layouts

Writers/Editors:

* Summarizing chapter reports for Letting GO, Family Voices and other NSA publications
* Summarizing topic discussions on the Teen and Parent Yahoo! Groups
* Reviewing  website content and writing introductory paragraphs for new items
* Assisting with development of 'Stuttering 101', an online course designed to learn educate about stuttering

Website Editors:

* Maintaining information on our website (experience with websites and MS Word a plus, but not required)
* Responding to queries on Facebook

Video Editors:

* Editing video for posting on the web (on YouTube and on the NSA website)
* Creating mini-videos for organization use 

Photo Editors:

* Editing Annual Conference and other photographs for the website
