Conference Dedication - Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden
The Vice President of the United States is "one of us"- a person who stutters. In 2004, Vice President Joe Biden was our conference keynote speaker. He talked with members of the NSA about his experiences as a person who stutters. Upon receiving news from the NSA that the 2009 NSA conference would be dedicated to him, VP Biden wrote a very personal letter to members of the NSA and people who stutter.

"...when you commit yourself to a sustained effort, when you persevere in the face of struggle, and when you find comfort and support from others, you will discover new strengths and skills to overcome the challenge before you."- Joe Biden
